Memory Care at Jones-Harrison offers an intimate environment based on wholeness, dignity, and self-expression. We respect and embrace each resident as an individual while making every effort to meet your physical, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive needs.
The Garden Memory Care offers private, bright, modern apartment homes with a serene and secure outdoor courtyard specially created for those with dementia. Residents gather for meals and activities in family-style dining and living rooms designed to encourage independence, engagement, and comfort. Our experienced, skilled, and caring staff provides on-site support 24 hours a day.
Dimensions(R) Memory Care includes:
- Private apartment with garden
- Nutritionally balanced meals served in a lovely dining room
- Private lounge for family gatherings
- Full-service salon and private library on-site
- Large outdoor courtyards with gazebo; lunches are served outside during the warmer months
- Laundry service and weekly housekeeping
- Religious/nondenominational services
- Call cord and pendant safety monitoring systems
- Assistance with transportation and eating
- Fun and engaging activities including trips off campus on our handicapped accessible buses
- Visiting pets are welcome
- All utilities, cable, phone, and wireless internet included
Mind, Body & Spirit Focus
Jones-Harrison is dedicated to improving the lives of older adults with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We understand that memory issues can make living alone challenging and daily tasks increasingly difficult.
We offer several sensory rooms and life enrichment areas with aromatherapy, specialized music and lighting, and tactile objects to help with cognition while contributing to self-expression and individuality. Residents’ minds, bodies, and spirits are nurtured holistically. We’ve designed programs and activities that promote well-being, comfort, and healing.
